Puppy Checklist
Q. What essential items should I buy before I collect my new puppy?
To ensure that you have all you need to make your new pup feel welcome in your home, and to make your home puppy-friendly we have devised an essential checklist.
Mark off each item as you put it in your basket at
www.pet-supermarket.co.uk, spend over £39 and you will receive free delivery, or choose our next day delivery service* to receive your goods extra fast!
Checklist:
- Crate for travelling in the car
*orders must be placed before 1pm cut-off time to receive next working day delivery. See terms & conditions for more details.
You may want to check out your local area too, to ensure you know what is available for your new puppy.
- Safe and clean areas to walk with your dog – Local parks, the beach, town moor, woodland paths, fields, etc.
- Find out where local veterinary practices are, and how to register. Even visit them and make a decision where you will take your new pup for her first examination.
- Check your area for puppy training & socialisation classes – these are an excellent way to ensure your pup will learn all the basic commands and become a well-behaved and social dog.
It is a good idea to consider pet insurance. Taking your pet to the Vets can become very costly, especially if they develop a condition that requires regular treatment and check-ups.
If your animal is in distress and needs emergency first aid, you must get in touch with a veterinary surgeon in your local area.
